Chaps My Fanny Friday!!!

Today's Topic

Especially in Recreational Areas

On our brief trip to Huntington Beach, it was not only cold but Filthy.
We were there while the tide was coming in and there was trash washing up on the shore. Candy wrappers, paper, plastic lids and straws...just gross.
And, there was also trash mulched in the sand. When Alec tried to dig to make a sand castle, he found a cup lid and a nasty soggy food wrapper like for a hot dog.

If you look closely, you can see bits of garbage

Now, I have been guilty of some littering in the past. But after seeing this, I have turned over a new leaf.

I am not sure where all the garbage we saw came from, but I truly see the impact of no one caring or at least not enough people caring.

As a beach bum I'm deeply offended. Boo on litter.

do you remember the litter bug song from Seseme Street?
yeah. just thought i'd make some sort of input.
and i think biodegratable things like, paper, and some plastics, and little toothpics and even food itself are okay. because those actually give back to the invironment.
besides, what we throw out is what we took in the first place.
